1.0 Introduction

  • 1.1 OUR AIMS
    Labourmarket Ltd simple aim is to put the best job seekers in touch with the best employers. We also aim to reduce costs of hiring and improve the recruitment process for all our users.

  • 1.2 AGREEMENTS
    When creating an account with Labourmarket or clicking 'Sign Up', Register, conducting searches or utilising any of the services offered you entering into a legally binding agreement as per the terms and conditions in this document. This legally binding agreement is valid if you are using the site as either an individual or on behalf of a company or third party. Members and Visitors agree not to post information or create profiles that either have a direct negative impact on Labourmarket or result in loss of revenue or perceived revenue be that financial or intellectual.

    This agreement applies equally to both registered users otherwise known as 'Members' and unregistered users known as 'Visitors'.

  • 1.3 DEFINITIONS
    In this Agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings:

      Means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilation's and any other form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of this website.

      Means collectively any online facilities, tools, services, or information labourmarket Ltd makes available through the website either now or in the future

    • 'USER'/'USERS'
      Means any third party that access the Website but is not employed by labourmarket Ltd and acting in the course of their employment

    • 'MEMBER'
      Means an individual who has registered with Labourmarket Ltd using the 'Register' or 'Sign Up' functionality

    • 'VISITOR'
      Means an individual who is using the website who has not registered as a member or has not logged into the Website using their log in details

    • 'WEBSITE'
      Mean the website you are currently using (www.labourmarket.com) and any sub domains of www.labourmarket.com unless stated otherwise in the terms and conditions.

2.0 Member and Visitor Obligations

  • 2.1 SERVICE OBLIGATIONS
    To use Labourmarket.com and any associated services Members and Visitors agree to comply with the following eligibility criteria:

    • a) You must be the minimum age of 16 years old in order to use the site and associated services

    • b) Meet the minimum age requirements for any specialised services, offers or competitions

    • c) You must create an account and profile using your full name and correct personal details

    • d) Only create a maximum of one account as a job seeker or as an employer

    • e) As an employer join the relevant Company Page for your organisation or create a company page if you are the first Member from your organisation to register with Labourmarket

    • f) Not be restricted by Labourmarket in either creating or maintaining a Membership

  • 2.2 MEMBERSHIP AND ACCOUNT OBLIGATIONS
    Members must agree to the following obligations when creating and maintaining any form of account or utilisation of services:

    • a) Choose and maintain a strong password that meets the criteria set out in creating an account

    • b) Keep your username and password secret and secure at all times

    • c) Do not allow any other individual or organisation access or use your personal profile be it one of an employer or a job seeker

    • d) Report any misuse or abuse of the site directly to the Labourmarket team

    • e) You are responsible for anything that happens with your account until you either close it or report any misuse/abuse

    • f) Enter correct information throughout the site

3.0 Messaging, Notifications and Sharing

Both Members and Visitors will be messaged and receive notifications from Labourmarket and selected third parties. This will be done in a number of ways including Email, Notifications through the website and via SMS/MMS. Members and Visitors also have the ability to share various information and elements of the site via social media and email. Members and Visitors agree to comply with the following when using Labourmarket.com:

    Members and Visitors agree to the following:

    • a) To allow Labourmarket to email notifications, updates and any other information deemed fit directly to Members

    • b) To receive notifications and alerts from Labourmarket on their dashboard

    • c) Receive notifications and any other information via SMS & MMS

  • 3.2 SHARING
    Members and Visitors agree to the following when using any sharing functionality on the website:

    • a) Labourmarket is not responsible for any negative comments or actions as a consequence of using the sharing functionality of the site

    • b) Members and Visitors agree not to share contact information such as telephone numbers or email address' that would allow other Members or Visitors to not make contact via Labourmarket

    • c) All sharing and related comments etc. must not contain any profanity or abuse

4.0 Information

This Website may contain links to other sites. Unless expressly stated, these sites are not under the control of labourmarket Ltd or that of our affiliates. We assume no responsibility for the content of such Websites and disclaim liability for any and all forms of loss or damage arising out of the use of them. The inclusion of a link to another site on this Website does not imply any endorsement of the sites themselves or of those in control of them.

  • 4.1 USE OF INFORMATION
    Labourmarket is a platform for Members and Visitors to showcase their information in order to either employ or be employed. Members and Visitors have the right to ownership of all the information that they personally input onto Labourmarket.com. Members and Visitors by creating accounts, profiles or navigating the site give Labourmarket Ltd a sub licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish and market all information.
    Members and Visitors have the right to end the above license by deleting your account. The licence will be ended effective immediately from the date of the closing of the Members account. Any information shared to third parties either by the Member or Labourmarket prior to this date still falls under the license stated above.
    Members and Visitors have the right to share their information with employers and third parties as part of their information rights. Members and Visitors agree as part of the above licence to allow Labourmarket Ltd to share their information to carefully selected partners.
    Members and Visitors agree that we can access, store and edit any information posted on the website as per the terms of the privacy policy.
    Members and Visitors agree not to post or publish material that may:

    • a) Cause offense

    • b) Violate the law or an individual's rights

    • c) Promote a third party company that is not a Member or Visitors employer

    • d) Be purposefully untruthful or inaccurate

    Labourmarket reserves the right to remove any information from the site without prior warning or consent.

5.0 Marketplace Rules and Agreements

By using the site Members and Visitors agree to comply with the below points and instructions at all times when using the site. Failure to adhere to the below is a breach of the terms and conditions of the site and may result in legal action and/or damages being sought by Labourmarket Ltd

    • e) Keep their information up to date

    • f) Only create a profile for themselves and/or the company that they are employed by

    • g) Use a current headshot as a profile picture that Members have the legal right to use and which does not breach any copyright laws

    • h) Create profiles that promote or offer a sexual service of any kind

6.0 Service Availability

  • 6.1 AVAILABILITY
    Labourmarket Ltd reserves the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any part (or the whole of) the Website including, but not limited to, the products and/or services available. These Terms and Conditions shall continue to apply to any modified version of the Website unless it is expressly stated otherwise.

  • 6.2 THE SERVICE
    The Service is provided 'as is' and on an 'as available' basis. We give no warranty that the Service will be free of defects and / or faults. To the maximum extent permitted by the law we provide no warranties (express or implied) of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, compatibility and satisfactory quality.

  • 6.3 SERVICE DISRUPTION
    Labourmarket Ltd accepts no liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Website resulting from external causes including, but not limited to, ISP equipment failure, host equipment failure, communications network failure, power failure, natural events, acts of war or legal restrictions and censorship.

13.0 Communications

  • 13.1 SENDING COMMUNICATIONS
    All notices / communications shall be sent to us either by post to our Premises (see address above) or by email to info@labourmarket.com. Such notice will be deemed received 3 days after posting if sent by first class post, the day of sending if the email is received in full on a business day and on the next business day if the email is sent on a weekend or public holiday.

  • 13.2 RECEIVING INFORMATION
    labourmarket Ltd may from time to time send you information about our products and/or services. If you do not wish to receive such information, please click on the 'Unsubscribe' link in any email which you receive from us.

14.0 Deleting Your Account

Members may choose to delete their account by emailing info@labourmarket.com and marking the subject line of the email 'Account Deactivation Request'. Our admin team will endeavour to delete your account as quickly as possible and the timescales contained in clause 13.1 will apply.

15.0 Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and the relationship between you and labourmarket Ltd shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law of England and Wales and labourmarket Ltd and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

16.0 Accuracy of Information

  • 16.1 VALIDITY OF INFORMATION
    While every effort is made by to ensure that the information entered by all Members is as accurate as possible Labourmarket ltd takes no responsibility for any false information entered. It is the explicit responsibility of the individual Member/Visitor to check all information before they make contact with other Members or engage them in any type of employment.

  • 16.2 CERTIFICATION
    All Members must keep copies of their certifications uploaded to the site in date and valid. In the event of a certificate expiring the member agrees to remove the certificate from their profile. Labourmarket Ltd takes no responsibility for the management or renewal of certification.

17.0 Telephone Number Masking

  • 17.1 NUMBER MASKING
    On registering users agree to provide a valid contact telephone number to be contact for work opportunities. The number provided by users is then replaced with a unique number to which they will be contact through. This is so that a member's personal contact information is not directly reported on the website. This is a security measure for our members. To deactivate the number masking members must request to either suspend or delete their account (see 14.0). Calls to masked numbers will cost £0.50 pence per minute from UK landlines, mobiles and other networks may vary.

18.0 Changes To These Terms

Labourmarket may revise terms of use at any time by amending Terms and Conditions page. Please check here on occasion to update yourself and note any changes as they are binding on you.

19.0 Changes To Our Site

On occasion we may update our site and elements within, and may change the content at any time. However, please note that any of the content on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update it. We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.

20.0 Accessing Our Site

Our site is available free of charge at point of access and there are no obligations unless availability requests or bookings are made where are standard Client terms will apply.
